Be supported to be the best you can be. We have a strong focus on support and supervision, ensuring our staff are provided with the environment to reflect on their work and practice.
- Be provided with learning opportunities. We have a comprehensive internal training calendar and our staff are provided with many learning opportunities. 75% of our staff strongly agree that they have had appropriate professional development in the last 12 months. We may also support staff with study if it will develop their skills in their current or aspiration role.

In addition to supervision, we provide an Employee Assistance Program, debriefing (when required), have Equal Opportunity Contact Officers and encourage open communication between staff and their managers. We have paid parental leave, carers leave, study leave and other flexible working arrangements may be negotiated, depending on the requirements of the role. Some roles are part time and our residential services program offers shift work. Whilst the hours in most positions are fixed, we are flexible with start and finish times.
- Have options for increasing remuneration through salary packaging. We pay above award rates and with the option for salary packaging the salary we offer is competitive.
In addition, we are a finalist in the 2009 Work Safe Awards for the category of Best Strategy for Health and Safety Management. We are delighted that our focus on the well being of our clients and staff has been acknowledged in this way.
