Volunteering

"A volunteer is someone who gives of their time freely and cheerfully, without hope or expectation of any reward either financially or in kind. A volunteer is not someone who gives their time and effort on the expectation of a return on their ‘investment'; that something will be given back to them."  Grant, J "The language of Volunteering" Australian Journal on volunteering, August 1999.

This statement is representative of all our volunteers at Berry Street. So if you share this view and our vision then you too could be a Berry Street volunteer.
