Andrew Zakrzewski

Andy has over 14 years of experience working as a Head Teacher Special Education, Head Teacher Wellbeing Suspension Centre, Learning and Support Teacher, behaviour itinerant and classroom teacher. His efficacious and holistic case management skills have facilitated healing, growth and learning in both Primary and Secondary schools. His altruistic and creative approach towards inclusive practices has allowed disenfranchised learners and students with additional needs to develop strong relationships and flourish in mainstream, special education and special assistance settings.

Andy's deep knowledge and experience in raising students' self-regulation and well-being through social-emotional learning approaches provides a rich foundation to support schools and their communities in the conscious and meaningful embedment of the Berry Street Education Model.
