Tanya Lancaster

Tanya has over 30 years’ experience working in many areas of education. As a Head Teacher, Assistant Principal Special Education, Wellbeing and Counselling Services Advisor, Specialist School Counsellor, Registered Psychologist and classroom teacher, Tanya has always enjoyed the challenge of creating positive change in schools. Her commitment to hope, healing and growth is the focus of her work as both an educator and a proud Aboriginal woman.

Tanya’s expert-level training, presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills, along with her in-depth knowledge of whole-school wellbeing approaches, help all school community stakeholders engage in the Berry Street Education Model, positively effecting the way they connect and interact with all young people. Tanya ensures that her practise is both safe and accessible, enriching positive learning outcomes for educators and the young people they teach.
