MoneyMinded is a flexible education program for adults seeking to build their money management skills, knowledge and confidence.

The objective of MoneyMinded is to assist adults to make informed decisions about how to manage money. MoneyMinded is designed to be used in one of two ways: individuals can access the online training activities and tools so they can learn at their own pace through the free online version of MoneyMinded www.moneyminded.com.au or they can engage with a community worker who is an accredited MoneyMinded Coach.

MoneyMinded coach training

MoneyMinded Coach Training is offered free of charge to community sector workers and volunteers, preparing them to run small workshops or use the MoneyMinded resources one to one with clients.

The program is flexible in design, encouraging Coaches to use only the content that is relevant to their client’s needs and their organisation’s setting.

The content is interactive and adaptable with topics including:

  • saving and spending
  • dealing with debt
  • planning for the future
  • a roof over your head.

MoneyMinded family violence coach training

Based on the original Coach training program, MoneyMinded Family Violence has been adapted to include content focused upon the needs of people impacted by family violence.

The free MMFV Coach training is open to workers in the family violence sector with involvement in safety planning and management. The interactive content includes topics such as:

  • warning signs of financial abuse
  • what are my options
  • burdened by other people’s debts.
