Support victim survivors of family violence

This past year has been tough for so many. We saw a drastic rise in family violence – around 30% during certain months last year. The impact of family violence on victim survivors is significant and at Berry Street we provide a range of services to help people stay in their community safely where possible and recover from the violence. This includes safety planning, accommodation and therapeutic counselling.

Your business can help us provide these critical services.

The flow-on effects of family violence

COVID-19 has exacerbated many of the risk factors for families that can lead to child abuse and neglect. A recent report by Social Ventures Australia estimates that a further 4,500 Victorian children will enter out-of-home care over the next few years due to COVID-19.

Our foster, kinship and residential care programs provide children and young people who have experienced trauma with a safe and secure place to live. We are committed to improving outcomes for Victorian children in out-of-home care, but we can’t do it without the support of businesses like yours.

Maximise your impact

All donations over $2 are tax-deductible which means you can maximise your impact and make a tax saving for your business at the same time.
