While our physical offices are closed, Berry Street is continuing to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Essential services are still being delivered to children, young people and families, including:

  • out-of-home care
  • case management
  • family violence services
  • education.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our service users, employees, carers and volunteers is of utmost importance; and we are ensuring that in delivering services, we are acting in accordance with current Government health and medical advice.

The coming months present increasing need

As we continue to operate and adapt to this crisis, it’s becoming apparent that the need is greater than ever. The effects of COVID-19 have the potential to place many of our service users in even more vulnerable positions and exacerbate existing trauma. And, based on recent global experience, we know that family violence is likely to increase significantly during any lock-down periods.

Thank you to our valued supporters for their continued support. It is needed now more than ever before as the children and young people in our care face significant challenges over the coming months.

Remember, if you need to contact us, please call the general enquiries number on 03 9429 9266 or contact your local office or school campus and you’ll be referred to the relevant service.
