Jesse needs your help today
Jesse was only five when he and his little brother and sister watched their mum pass away in front of them.
That’s enough trauma to last a lifetime but things only went from bad to worse.
The house became filthy, there was junk everywhere and dirt literally covering the floor.
His dad was extremely violent towards Jesse and his siblings. He and his brother and sister were threatened and lived in terror. They were so little, and they just wanted their mum.
Jesse’s dad was also dealing drugs from the house… one of Jesse’s most vivid memories is of being little and putting on an apron to help his dad cook drugs.
It was so unsafe living with their dad, that Jesse and his siblings had to be removed. They’ve ended up shifting between more than 10 foster homes since.
Now, Jesse is thirteen and at a really critical point in his life. He urgently needs your support.
Your kindness can go towards:
- finding kids like Jesse a safe home with specially trained foster carers where they are able to stay long term
- providing Jesse and kids like him with the therapy they need to recover
- helping Jesse to receive special support at school so he stays engaged and continues to attend.
Please help Jesse today. It is not too late for him but he needs the complete wraparound support for the best chance.
Your support can ensure that kids like Jesse have a bright and positive future. Without the right help, the cycle of poverty and disadvantage will continue.
After everything he’s been through, Jesse deserves to be safe, stable and able to recover from his past trauma.
