Show Leo the care all babies deserve

Berry Street was founded in 1877 when a group of courageous women defied the social norms of the day to care for mothers and babies who had been abandoned.
Fast forward to today, we exist to help those experiencing poverty, violence and abuse. Our vision is for all children, young people and families to be safe, thriving and hopeful.
We want to support babies and children like Leo*. But we need the help of our supportive community, we need people like you.
At four-months old Leo was beaten black and blue. He had several untreated broken bones and was withdrawing from drugs. He was a tiny baby who should have been receiving lots of cuddles and love but instead he was neglected and abused.

Doesn’t your heart ache for Leo? Not just for his physical abuse, but for the lifelong emotional scars he could carry? Babies like Leo face a major uphill battle to live a normal life. Without proper help, they can easily slip into lifelong disadvantage.
Leo and babies like him need your support so they can recover from the terrible trauma they have experienced.
We urgently need your support to help:
- find safe homes for babies like Leo
- train foster carers to care for babies and children
- provide therapy for children like Leo so they can recover from the trauma they have experienced.
Please, will you support babies and children like Leo? Please donate today.
