Direct Debit Request Service Agreement

Direct Debit Request (DDR) Service Agreement

I / we authorise Berry Street to arrange for funds to be debited from my account at the Financial Institution identified by me in writing or via the online pledge form and as prescribed through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System (APCA User ID 366 182). I have indicated the amount to be donated and the frequency. This authorisation is to remain in force in accordance with the terms described in the service agreement below.

1. Should you wish to cancel, defer or make alterations to the direct debit arrangement, please ring 1800 237 797 or email supportus@berrystreet.org.au. We will give you 14 days notice if we vary any of the debit arrangements.

2. Should you have any queries or dispute any debit item, please contact Berry Street in the first instance.

3. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient clear funds are in the nominated account when payments are drawn. If the transaction is returned unpaid, we will write to you seeking instructions.

4. You are advised to check your account details by contacting your Financial Institution.

5. Direct Debiting is not available on the full range of accounts. If in doubt, please refer to your Financial Institution.

6. Your account will be debited on or within the business week after the date indicated (1st or 16th of each month).

7. Your records and account details will be kept private and confidential to be disclosed only if requested by yourself or Financial Institution if claim is made for an alleged incorrect or wrongful debit.

Credit Card Debit Request

Funds will be deducted on or the week after the date (1st or 16th of each month). Berry Street will notify you in writing within 14 days of any variation to the debit arrangement. Please have funds available in each month they are due. If funds aren’t available, we will attempt to contact you as well as try the debit again within each month due.

We may collect, use and disclose your personal information for purposes to process and record donations, provide receipts, contact you about our activities, and to provide you with our newsletters, reports, invitations and requests for support.
