We provide help and support through evidence-based services so that children can recover from trauma and lead healthy, happy lives.

We work to ensure that everyone experiencing family violence can access support and safety. We help children and their caregivers make sense of their trauma, so they can recover and feel safe again.
Provide safe homes
We provide safe homes for children who are unable to live with their families. This includes foster, kinship and residential care.
Provide trauma-informed education
We help children with complex, unmet learning needs reach their full potential through our education programs and school.
Proactive care for families and communities
We help children and families at an earlier stage with the support they need, so they can create safe homes and remain connected with their communities.

Since 1877, Berry Street has existed to help those experiencing poverty, violence and abuse, and to help families stay together in safe and healthy homes. We provide vital programs that work and are changing lives.
Despite these positive changes we’ve seen, for some young people and their families, life is getting worse. By donating to Berry Street, you are helping us to care for children and young people who have experienced abuse and neglect.
