Participation

This masterclass is open to education staff who lead or manage behaviour policy and practice in their school (for example, principals, assistant principals, lead teachers, wellbeing leaders, allied education professionals supporting schools). Participants should have already completed the first four-days of the BSEM.

In this masterclass participants will

  • Build upon what is already working well with the aim of creating whole-school consistency for all staff members
  • Review and/or reimagine their whole-school approach to positive behaviour support for all students with a specific focus on students with complex learning needs
  • Explore the necessary strategies to implement both restorative practices and fair consequences
  • Ensure that each step in your whole-school behaviour management process empowers both students and teachers. learn through a community of practice approach to implement trauma-informed change aligned with your school’s strategic plans.

Cost

The cost of the masterclass is $290 per person including GST.
Registration will be open until Thursday 29 August 2024 unless sold out prior.

Payment is by Credit Card

A confirmation and tax invoice will be issued automatically upon registration to your nominated email address.

Please be advised if payment or cancellation notification is not received as per the above terms and conditions your ability to attend future event will be impacted.

A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 7 business days prior to the first day of the course. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Please note there are no shared registrations available.

Should the Berry Street Education Team cancel a course for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees only, and this will incur no administrative charges or penalties.

Bookings may be transferred at the discretion of the Berry Street Education Team. Please put these requests in writing to bsem@berrystreet.org.au before the event. Transfers and cancellations will be subject to a charge.
