Disability and inclusion

Disability and inclusion practices support diverse learning needs to benefit all students. This Berry Street Education Model masterclass explores best practices in special and inclusive education. Focus areas include disability and inclusion frameworks, communication and sensory processing needs, inclusive stamina tools, and support for students who receive adjustments. 

The masterclass will support educators with practical strategies that align the Berry Street Education Model, with inclusive education and diverse learning approaches to support educator best practice. Learn how to support all students in becoming expert learners and re-envision the experience of education for students with disability or diverse learning needs experience, from micro-moments of responsiveness through to systems change to address systemic barriers faced by young people.

Through a BSEM lens, this masterclass designed to support educators in the rigorous process of managing the rights and needs of all students to ensure a safe, positive learning environment for all.

Cost

This masterclass is $350 including GST & refreshments.

Registration will remain open until Wednesday 12 June 2024 unless sold out prior.

Who should attend

These masterclasses are for those who have already completed the Berry Street Education Model 4-day course.

A confirmation and tax invoice will be issued automatically upon registration to your nominated email address.

Please be advised if payment or cancellation notification is not received as per the above terms and conditions your ability to attend future event will be impacted.

A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 7 business days prior to the first day of the course. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Please note there are no shared registrations available.

Should the Berry Street Education Team cancel a course for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees only, and this will incur no administrative charges or penalties.

Bookings may be transferred at the discretion of the Berry Street Education Team. Please put these requests in writing to bsem@berrystreet.org.au before the event. Transfers and cancellations will be subject to a charge.
