Berry Street is pleased to announce that Latrobe Health Services is generously donating $300,000 to support our GOALS (Going Out and Living Successfully) program in Gippsland.

GOALS provides support and accommodation for young people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or about to leave out-of-home care.

With the increased pressures on the local community as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this support comes at a critical time.

Berry Street’s Gippsland Director, Faorligh Hunter, said the donation would make a real difference to young people recovering from trauma and isolation.

Latrobe’s generous donation will support young people who are at risk of homelessness, including many who have suffered abuse and neglect.

“The funding will allow Berry Street to deliver a program designed to assist young people with a significant background of disadvantage to become independent and live successfully in the community.”

Thank you Latrobe Health Services for your support of our work and the local Gippsland community.
