We need your help to break the cycle of family violence so children like Pippa* can live free from abuse and neglect.

The first years of Pippa’s life were filled with shouting, substance abuse, hitting and constant conflict. This meant that Pippa felt stressed all the time. She struggled at school and was picked on by the other kids.

Eventually, Pippa was placed in out-of-home care, but she still needs so much support to be able to have a bright future where she can thrive.

• Pippa needs intensive therapy, so she can recover, learn, play and grow up to lead a happy, healthy life. Without it, she would continue to be impacted by the devastating effects of her trauma
• she needs a safe home, without fear and violence so she can begin to move out of the heightened physical state that she’s in as a form of protection. Until that happens, she can’t learn at school
• Pippa also needs her family to receive family violence support so they can break the cycle of violence, recover from their trauma and live safely together.
