Terms and conditions

If you are organising a fundraising event or activity, there may be things you need to do to meet the relevant laws. Please ensure you register your fundraiser with us.

Contact our Supporter Care team on 1800 237 797 or supportus@berrystreet.org.au to provide this information or if you have any questions.

We will review your event application and let you know via email if you have been approved to raise funds on behalf of Berry Street.

Running a raffle or competition

If you are planning a raffle or competition with a combined prize value greater than $5,000, you may require a permit in Victoria. To find out more go to the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation.

Dealing with accusations of fraud

We will refer any allegations or indication of fraudulent fundraising activities to Victoria Police and Consumer Affairs Victoria (Department of Justice). Berry Street will not allow organisations or groups that are outlawed under State or Federal legislation to fundraise for us.

Using the Berry Street name and logo

You will need our approval before using the Berry Street name and logo. All artwork for any posters or other collateral must also be approved by Berry Street.

Your publicity must state clearly that the event or activity is being organised by yourself or your company. It must be made clear in all promotional material that Berry Street is a beneficiary only. Please send us a copy of your marketing materials for approval before you promote your event.
