Are you ready to embark on a life-changing adventure that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime? We invite you to join us on our Berry Street Cradle Mountain Trek in April 2024.

Here are the top ten reasons why this adventure should be on your must-do list:

1. Reconnect with nature: Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of Cradle Mountain. Breathe in the rejuvenating mountain air and let the stunning landscapes of mountains and lakes captivate your soul.

2. Iconic alpine experience: Immerse yourself in one of the most iconic alpine landscapes in the world, right here in Australia. Cradle Mountain offers a unique blend of rugged beauty and tranquillity that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated.

3. Encounter wildlife in the wild: Get up close and personal with Australia's incredible wildlife. From Tassie devils and echidnas to wombats and quolls, you'll have the chance to see these unique creatures in their natural habitat.

4. Reap the health benefits: Get ready for the mountains with training support from the Inspired Adventures team. Use the trek as a powerful incentive to enhance your fitness. The challenging terrain will not only test your endurance but also reward you with a sense of accomplishment.

5. Explore hidden gems: Embark on four separate day treks, including the renowned Overland Track, Cradle Valley, Marions Lookout, and Hansons Peak. Each trek promises a new adventure and breathtaking vistas.

6. Receive expert guidance and support: Whether you're a hiking novice or a seasoned trekker, our local guides will be by your side. It's the perfect trek for beginners and anyone yet to experience the magic of Cradle Mountain, and you'll be treated to hearty food morning, noon and night.

7. Feel good about doing good: Trek with purpose and raise funds for children and families who have faced violence and abuse. Your fundraising journey will provide hope and healing for children and young people who are vulnerable.

8. Forge lifelong friendships: Connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for nature and making a positive change. The friendships will be as enduring as the memories you create on the journey.

9. Care for the environment: With Inspired Adventures, some of your trek fees support carbon credit programs in partnership with Carbon Neutral to offset your emissions. By travelling in small groups, we aim to have minimal impact on this precious landscape.

10. All-inclusive experience: Whether you're with family, friends or co-workers, this adventure caters to all your needs. You'll bond over the challenges, wildlife encounters, and the profound impact your fundraising will have on vulnerable lives.

Cradle Mountain Trek participants

The low-down on the trek, accommodation, food and support

  • we’ll take four separate day treks through the Cradle Mountain landscape – some relatively flat, but some challenging and steep (great to get the blood pumping!)
  • we walk for about 6 to 8 hours each day (between 7 and 10 kilometres each day)
  • you’ll learn how your fundraising is transforming the lives of children and families during your conversations with our friendly Berry Street staff on the trek
  • enjoy hearty food morning, noon and night, with meals provided as part of your trek fee (dietary restrictions are catered for)
  • we stay in the same 3-star two-person cabin each night (so there’s no need to carry all your food and equipment up the mountain!)
  • you’ll be supported by expert staff and guides so you can take on the trek at your own pace
  • if you come with family, friends or co-workers, you’ll bond over the challenges, the beauty of the landscapes and animals, and the impact you’re making on the lives of some of the most vulnerable people
  • if you come alone (and many do!) you’ll make new friends as you chat over the four days .
