Brenton has a wealth of experience in various education approaches as a valued Drama/English teacher, Pastoral Care Coordinator and Head of Curriculum (Drama.) He acted as a key figure for change within the school in all his roles. He has designed and implemented Positive Education frameworks and strategies to ensure that the ongoing holistic nature of learning remains at the forefront of best practice. His wellbeing expertise is enhanced by his studies for the Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne, studying organisational, educational, and personal practices to thrive and flourish.

Brenton’s work is driven by the focus to value student voices to inspire open-minded and curious inquiry into their needs. He has guided and enriched the pedagogical practices of many educators, including beginning teachers starting in their careers.

Brenton is passionate about empowering educators and young people as a Consultant with the Berry Street Education Model to fulfil their potential and discover the strengths that define their character, creating well-rounded, capable and virtuous people.
