John Barkley

John has a wealth of school leadership and teaching experience that he brings to the role of New South Wales and Queensland State Lead.

As an experienced Principal, he draws upon his knowledge of creating collaborative, student-centred learning communities, to support all young people to learn, heal and connect. John has worked in small regional schools, large metropolitan schools, and remote Aboriginal community education.

John is committed to improving the conditions for teaching and learning in all schools, ultimately leading to a brighter future for all young people.
